Have you seen Paranormal Activity? Can I have your opinion please?
Was it good? Why?
Was it a waste of time and money? Why?
Was it a much better remake of Blair Witch Project with a bunch of hype? Do you believe it was real or do you think it was just people making noises and moving things out of sight of the camera.
All opinions and critiques welcome. Thanks for reading my question.
God Bless.
scary until you find out it’s not real

I laughed at the scary parts….out loud.
Does that give you some sort of an idea?

It was overall a good movie.
I’m not sure if it was real or not.
It had some boring parts, but when the good parts cam, they were worth it.
the movie wasn’t scary, it was creepy, if you understand what I mean.
Don’t spend your money at the theaters, wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it at red box for a dollar.

I thought it was OK. It takes a while to get going and there are long segments that are quite boring. The good stuff is kept until the last 15-20 minutes or so. I did not really find it scary, to be honest. The only way you’d find it scary is if you actually take paranormal stuff seriously. I don’t, so I wasn’t scared. Even in the supposedly "terrifying" parts, I was painfully aware that it wasn’t real. It definitely is not real btw. I don’t think the makers of the movie ever claimed it was either (I’m open to correction on that). The only good bit was the acting. I thought the two main people involved did a pretty good job considering I would say most of the dialogue was improvised.
No, it is not better than the Blair Witch Project in my opinion. As far as horror mockumentaries go, the BWP is 100 times better.
